My wife and I stayed here for one night. Room type: Standard King. Found it interesting that the reception/check-in counter is also a bar. Hotel also offers free cancellation up to the day itself you are arriving. Mostly pluses. Can only think of one minus really. Would recommend for a stay in Savonlinna. (+) a few minutes walk from Savonlinna train station (+) room is brightly lit (compared to many hotels I have been) (+) lake view from our room’s bay windows (see photo) (+) complimentary buffet breakfast was pretty good (+) strong air conditioning (-) curtains did not completely block out light from outside which might be a problem for some people when sun rises early (19 hours of sunlight per day this timing in summer)

A classic example of misleading marketing. We booked a room at the Original Sokos Hotel Seurahuone through the hotel's website. 372 eur/night for an "apartment room". At the hotel check in we were advised that our accommodation was not in the hotel: Go out, take left then take a left again and continue for half a mile. Then check in at the reception of a two star summer Hotel Tott where the room was located. Very spartan, student dormitory type of room with very uncomfortable beds and a wonderful view of the garbage shed of a nearby building.

Travelled with a collegue. Reception staff friendly but had a lot of technical difficulties when checking in. Room looks fresh and oversees to Saimaa. French balcony. Bed was uncomfortable, probably old and seen it’s best days. Did not sleep well. Bathroom floor leans towards the door, so the water floats towards it. Traffic sounds can be heard up to the rooms even in the middle of the night. Breakfast staff ignored my black collegue and did not serve our table at all. All other tables we’re cleaned from dirty dishes. Have been here before, but will choose any other location in the future.

Best hotel in Savonlinna. Perfect place to stay if going to the Opera festival. Very friendly staff. Good rooms even though a bit smallish. The breakfast is excellent with hoot and cold food. Parking in hotel, but book in advance. Also hotel rooms should be booked in advance during the opera festival.

We’re here for the Opera and happy we chose this hotel. Convenient location, very helpful and gracious staff. Clean & comfortable rooms and common areas. Has A/C which is much appreciated. Breakfast is great - lots of choices and everything fresh; nice breakfast room. Haven’t tried sauna yet but looks good. Highly recommend.

We stayed in Totti building. We managed to get brand new rooms (apartment) which were amazing. The sauna was in a very bad condition and not a very good breakfast. I think they were just starting so I think they will make it better. Staff were very friebdly.

Sehr schönes Hotel direkt am See gelegen. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im der 5. Etage und hatten einen tollen Blick auf den See. Zimmer und Bad geräumig, sehr sauber, Body-Lotion vorhanden. Kühlschrank und Wasserkocher (allerdings waren nur Teebeutel, Zucker und Creamer da, aber kein Kaffeepäckchen). Halbrunde Ausbuchtung zum See hin mit schöner Sitzgelegenheit. Frühstück war sehr gut, es gab große Auswahl. Kostenlos geparkt haben wir vor dem Hotel (18 - 8 Uhr frei, es gibt aber nur wenige Parkplätze). Ich kann das Hotel nur weiterempfehlen.

Gostei muito do quarto. Limpo, organizado e com uma linda vista para o lago de Savonlinna. Os funcionários são muito educados e me senti bem recebida. Próximo ao Castelo de Olavinlina, restaurantes e barcos.
